Janet Cook serves as the Executive Director of Eupora Economic Development. A strategic and forward-thinking leader, Janet brings an innovative approach to economic development—one that prioritizes creativity, placemaking, and a resilient local economy over traditional models.

Her background includes managing an $11 billion cost accounting budget with the Federal Aviation Administration, where she honed her skills in precision, analysis, and high-level execution. She has also worked across federal, state, and local sectors, consistently building strong partnerships and delivering measurable results.

Before coming to Mississippi, Janet played a key role in Arapahoe County, Colorado, where she led cross-sector collaboration to advance regional growth. In Eupora, she is driving initiatives that support small businesses, elevate community assets, and position the city for sustainable, long-term progress.

Janet is committed to moving Eupora forward through strategic investment, bold thinking, and a deep belief in the power of community.

Logan Rico

Logan Rico serves as a volunteer for Eupora Economic Development. A rising leader in the field, Logan brings a dynamic blend of civic engagement, creative strategy, and operational execution. With a focus on long-term community growth, he works across marketing, event planning, and grant development to position Eupora as a vibrant, future-ready city.

Logan began his journey in local government through the Mayor’s Youth Council and quickly emerged as a key voice in shaping the city’s economic direction. From leading tourism initiatives to producing cornerstone events like the Chainsaw & Arts Festival, he consistently delivers high-impact projects that drive visibility and community pride.

Embracing a non-traditional approach to economic development, Logan prioritizes innovation, storytelling, and place-based strategies that reflect the unique character of Eupora. He is committed to building momentum through bold ideas, strategic partnerships, and a deep belief in the City of Eupora's potential.

Kathryn Barnett

Kathryn Barnett serves as a volunteer for Eupora Economic Development. As the lead of the organization’s Business Development Program, Kathryn plays a critical role in driving local commerce forward. With a strategic mindset and a strong commitment to supporting small business growth, she focuses on fostering a pro-business environment through direct engagement, resource alignment, and relationship management.

Kathryn brings a results-oriented approach to her work, championing initiatives that enhance business retention, streamline access to support services, and create opportunities for long-term sustainability. Her leadership ensures that Eupora’s business community remains connected, competitive, and equipped for growth.

Sealy Glasner serves as a volunteer for Eupora Economic Development. Known for her strong communication skills and collaborative spirit, Sealy plays a key role in keeping projects organized, aligned, and moving forward. Her ability to foster teamwork and maintain clear, consistent communication across efforts makes her an essential part of the organization’s success.

After moving back to Eupora from Nashville, TN, Sealy brought with her valuable experience in recruitment for a technology company, where she honed her skills in talent acquisition, relationship-building, and strategic outreach. This background enhances her ability to connect the right people and resources to support Eupora’s growth.

Sealy made a clear decision to give back to the community that shaped her. Her dedication to local progress and natural leadership make her a trusted voice in driving initiatives that support Eupora’s continued development.
